The damage that car accidents in Maryland cause may range from the minor fender benders to the devastating multi-car pileups. Around 8:30 a.m., a man walking in a parking lot with his mother was struck by a vehicle driven by a man of undisclosed age. The victim died at the scene of the incident. Interestingly, the victim was apparently carrying an assault rifle at the time of the accident, and it was recovered at the crash site by law enforcement personnel. The driver remained at the accident scene and has been cooperating with county police in their investigation.
