Suspected drunk driver involved in Maryland car accident

Being involved in a wreck with a drunk driver can be a frightening experience. The situation can be even more unfortunate if serious injuries result from the car accident. Reports stated that there were at least three individuals in a vehicle that had stopped for traffic when a vehicle approaching from behind struck the first car. The second vehicle was carrying at least one adult and four children. After police arrived at the scene, they suspected that the driver of the striking vehicle was under the influence, and she is currently facing charges.

The accident resulted in the four children in the second car being transported from the scene as a precaution. Two adults in the stopped vehicle were transported by ambulance due to their injuries, and a 14-year-old passenger in that car was airlifted from the scene.
