It’s not just troops who have seen battle or colliding football players that are subject to brain injuries. Although those two demographics represent two of the more well-known causes of suffering brain damage, researchers think that hundreds of thousands more suffer TBIs as well. These include a headache that will not go away, weakness in the arms or legs as well as any cognitive changes experienced. For the last one, an individual or those close to them may simply observe that they seem “different.”
