The woman was rear-ended by an 18-year-old Westminster woman, according to the Maryland State Police. The woman suffered serious injuries in the crash and was flown to a local university’s shock trauma in Baltimore. There, she later succumbed to her injuries. Charges are currently pending against the other driver.
